In 2018, we established ACR consulting as a result of many years of observing systematically the same issues within the property and construction industries.

Such issues have been identified as 1 TRILLION dollars worldwide on opportunity savings within these industries coming from design and construction inefficiencies. Between 30% to 50% of any budget is at risk due to poor quality of the documentation - ambiguity, design errors and omissions - leading to construction failures.

Our mission is to help our clients to deliver projects more efficiently, mitigating such risks and consequently, obtaining better returns and benefits for all stakeholders.

Acting on behalf of our clients - large and small - we provide fully integrated property development and construction services, from inception to completion, focusing on establishing the right strategy and selecting the most suitable product first, and then leading to the successful delivery of the project.

AVOID

Risk is inherent to any construction project. We prioritise preventing actions to identify and mitigate risks, providing response plans to ensure there are no implications affecting budgets and programmes, causing disruption and costly disputes.

MANAGE

We monitor and control that the design, procurement and construction areas are according to the established targets so that the budget, programme and quality of the project are not affected. Monitoring and coordinating effectively with designers, specialist consultants and contractors is crucial.

RESOLVE

Acting promptly to resolve any issue is critical to minimise any potential disruption and costly implications.

 

We undertake a thorough analysis including all key constraints - time, cost and quality - in order to assist an informed decision-making process to confirm the best solution is implemented.

Carlos Robles

Bachelor of Engineering - Honours - Civil Engineering

As Co-Founder and Director of ACR Consulting Limited, his motivation and commitment are to help improve his clients’ conditions.

He is a Civil Engineer and a member of the Project Management Institute, implementing The Project Management Professional (PMP) framework on his projects.

He has developed his career internationally both in New Zealand and Europe for over 20 years, successfully delivering large-scale portfolios of over $ 3 billion net worth and leading multi-disciplinary teams of 2000 people plus.

His ‘big-picture' mentality has been formed in property development, main contracting and consulting areas, dealing with all types of contracts such as PPP, EPC, Design & Build or ‘Build only’.

Carlos has robust and unique expertise forged on strategic and delivery roles in highly complex engineering projects in the multi-residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

He is one of those rare profiles who possesses real experience in all possible areas around the table within property development. And most importantly, he continues learning every day with the mission to improve the property and construction industries.

Ana Sanchez

Bachelor of Engineering - Honours - Construction Engineering (First Class)

Ana is a Co-Founder and Director of ACR Consulting, where she is determined to minimise the inefficiencies in the property development and construction industries.

She is a Construction Engineer who achieved the best final industrial project award by designing a multi-storey residential building and implementing BIM modelling to coordinate and integrate the different disciplines. 

She has over 15 years of professional experience, dedicating the last 6 years to the property development and construction industries in New Zealand. 

Ana acquired deep knowledge of project and cost management disciplines from her development putting into practice her abilities to lead the technical facets of design and project management.

Her analytical mindset and problem-solving skills in mitigating construction risks coming from design ambiguities generate substantial benefits for her clients.
